Renewing a Business License

RENEWING FOR A BUSINESS LICENSE IS AS EASY AS 1, 2, 3, 4!

RENEW YOUR BUSINESS LICENSE

See How To Guides

Log into to you dashboard on ConnectLCF. The dashboard s located from the top left-hand side of the top menu bar after you have logged in. Go to your “My License” section of the dashboard and click on “Renew” for license which are ready to be renewed.

REMEMBER: Be sure to pay for your invoice to ensure the review process moves in a timely manner.

CHECK PAYMENTS: Please mail the check to One Civic Center Dr. La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS: Be aware the credit card processing company does charge a 2.5% transaction fee.

STAFF REVIEW

Once you have applied for the renewal and we have received payment for your business license, staff will review your application. Staff will verify it is complete and ensure all necessary City approvals are received before finalizing it.

PRINT LICENSE

Once your license is issued, you will be notified by email. You can then print a copy from the “license record” on your ConnectLCF portal. That is it! You now have a valid license for the year.

VEHICLE DECALS

If you are a contractor, City staff will send your contractor vehicle decals via US Postal Service after your license is issued. In the meantime, keep a copy of your business license in each vehicle as you are required to have proof of a current license to show the Sheriff should questions arise. Replace with your decals upon receipt.

Permit and Entitlements

The City’s permitting and entitlement process is completely online from start to finish. You may apply for building permits, entitlement cases, encroachment permits online, pay your fees online, go through plan checks online, request inspections online, know which step of the process your case is at through the case workflow and finally print related documents including issued permit online.

Prior to applying for a permit/plan application, be sure to review the required submittals for your respective application.

You may apply for an entitlement processor permits* online through “ConnectLCF“.*Prior to applying for a building permit (excluding trade permits), you will need to apply for a Zoning Clearance first. You will need the Zoning Clearance case number to complete your building permit application.

Permits/Reservations Suspended

Due to County Health Orders, facility and park rentals are suspended until further notice.

Property Deeds - Restrictive Covenant Modifications

State law authorizes a person who holds an ownership interest of record in a property that is the subject of a racially or otherwise unlawfully restrictive covenant to record a Restrictive Covenant Modification document to have the illegal language stricken (Government Code §12956.2). A person who holds an ownership interest of record in property that the person believes is the subject of an unlawfully restrictive covenant in violation of subdivision (l) of Section 12955 may record a document titled Restrictive Covenant Modification.

Such Restrictive Covenant Modifications can be performed by the County of Los Angeles Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Office, who can be contacted, as follows:
