The City of La Cañada Flintridge recognizes the importance of preparing for natural and man-made hazards. Our Local Hazard Mitigation Plan plays a critical role in our ability to mitigate the impact of these hazards. As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our citizens, we are in the process of updating our current Local Hazard Mitigation Plan. Community participation is essential in creating a comprehensive and effective plan. We appreciate the citizens and stakeholders of La Cañada Flintridge who have share their thoughts regarding the 2019 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan. Feedback is being incorporated into the updated plan and a final draft will be posted for review prior to adopted.

What Happens Now?

  1. Review: All comments are being reviewed by the City’s Local Hazard Mitigation Planning and Development Team.
  2. Integration: Relevant feedback is currently being integrated into the updated plan.
  3. Notification: Keep an eye on our official website and city announcements for updates regarding the plan’s status.
