Public Works Department is responsible for maintenance of all public right of way.  These include public streets, traffic signals, City owned trails, sewers and much more.  As a contract city majority of these work are contracted to other agencies.  However, Public Works remains responsible for ensuring that the work is completed on time and to a satisfactory manner.  Public Works however, is not responsible for utilities maintenance, such as water, power, telephone, cable and gas.  Each perspective company is responsible for their maintenance and addressing concerns from residents.
