Los Angeles County’s Office of Emergency Management and the National Weather Service anticipates strong, high-speed winds, and fire weather throughout LA County, including foothill communities, from today, Sunday, October 25, 2020 until Tuesday, October 27, 2020.
The following safety tips can help residents prepare themselves, their families and homes for power outages and evacuations:
Due to County Health Orders, facility and park rentals are suspended until further notice.
State law authorizes a person who holds an ownership interest of record in a property that is the subject of a racially or otherwise unlawfully restrictive covenant to record a Restrictive Covenant Modification document to have the illegal language stricken (Government Code §12956.2). A person who holds an ownership interest of record in property that the person believes is the subject of an unlawfully restrictive covenant in violation of subdivision (l) of Section 12955 may record a document titled Restrictive Covenant Modification.
Such Restrictive Covenant Modifications can be performed by the County of Los Angeles Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Office, who can be contacted, as follows:
