-The City adheres to the directives issued by the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health (DPH), thus, at this time, is issuing permits to Youth Sports Leagues, Adult Recreational Sports, and for Individual Use (use by an individual or by members of the same household).
-Adult sports leagues and amateur adult sports are currently not permitted under the DPH Health Officer Order.
-Youth Sports Leagues and Adult Recreational must review, acknowledge, and adhere to the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health’s Reopening Protocol for Youth and Adult Recreational Sports Leagues. A copy of the Order can be Read Here.
-Individuals do not need a permit to use the athletic but must adhere to the DPH guidelines below. Additionally, must abide by City and/or La Canada Unified School District stated field closures, and vacate the field for users with an approved City permit.
-All participants, including individuals must adhere to the following guidelines set by DPH:
-Maintain physical distancing of at least six (6) feet between individuals or household groups.
-Wear face coverings while playing or engaged in physical exercise except when individuals can maintain at least six feet of physical distancing from others not in their household.

You may apply for an entitlement processor permits* online through “ConnectLCF“.*Prior to applying for a building permit (excluding trade permits), you will need to apply for a Zoning Clearance first. You will need the Zoning Clearance case number to complete your building permit application.

State law authorizes a person who holds an ownership interest of record in a property that is the subject of a racially or otherwise unlawfully restrictive covenant to record a Restrictive Covenant Modification document to have the illegal language stricken (Government Code §12956.2). A person who holds an ownership interest of record in property that the person believes is the subject of an unlawfully restrictive covenant in violation of subdivision (l) of Section 12955 may record a document titled Restrictive Covenant Modification.
