La Cañada Flintridge, CA – The City of La Cañada Flintridge is seeking applications from residents to serve on the Parks and Recreation Commission. Those interested may submit an application to the Office of the City Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2024. Applications may be submitted in-person, by mail, or e-mail to tgarcia@lcf.ca.gov. The Parks and Recreation Commission of the City consists of five members. The Commission develops immediate and long-range plans for the City’s recreation needs; and schedules public recreational activities utilizing public facilities. The Commission meets regularly at 6:00 p.m. on the 2nd Wednesday of each month in the Council Chambers. Additional meetings may be held as required.
The City Council is tentatively scheduled to make the appointments at the June 18, 2024, Regular Meeting.
