Effective July 17, the City of La Cañada Flintridge now offers ActiveLCF, a new, interactive recreation software. ActiveLCF allows users to access a simplified reservation system for parks, athletics fields and facilities.

“The development of ActiveLCF is a milestone for our community,” stated Mayor Keith Eich. “Our dedicated team has invested considerable effort in developing this software to streamline the permit application process, resulting in greater efficiency and speed. With ActiveLCF, applicants and City staff can enjoy a more simplified experience that enhances the overall quality of our park rental system.”

Through ActiveLCF, applicants can easily submit and City staff can quickly access digital permits. The software allows both parties to easily check permit status, access required documents and gives City staff the ability to leave comments for applicants to view and respond to.

On and after July 17th individuals or groups seeking use of the City’s recreational facilities that require reservations and permits will need to submit requests through ActiveLCF.

In addition to providing straightforward communication for residents, ActiveLCF allows for easier communication between City departments. The software is configured to automatically notify each department if their approval is needed for specific permits, simplifying and expediting the process for applicants and staff.

“We are excited that ActiveLCF will be available to the community,” explained Arabo Parseghian, Acting Director of Administrative Services. “ActiveLCF offers a user-friendly interface that simplifies the process for both applicants and City staff, and we believe it will greatly enhance the overall experience of renting our City parks.
