The City Council of La Cañada Flintridge convened on April 16th, 2024, for a momentous meeting that celebrated the dedicated service of outgoing Mayor Gunter and Councilmember Walker while welcoming the new leadership team to steer the city’s future.

In a poignant ceremony, the newly elected Councilmembers, Eich, Fossan, and Hobson, were sworn in, marking the beginning of their official duties to serve the city and its residents with dedication and integrity. Their election reflects the trust and confidence bestowed upon them by the community, and they are poised to uphold the city’s values while addressing its constituents’ diverse needs and challenges.
Following the swearing-in ceremony, the City Council unanimously selected Michael Davitt to lead as the new Mayor of La Cañada Flintridge. Mayor Davitt’s extensive experience, leadership acumen, and deep-rooted commitment to the city make him well-suited to guide La Cañada Flintridge toward continued prosperity. Additionally, Councilmember Bowman was appointed as the new Mayor Pro Temp, a role he will fulfill with distinction, bringing his dedication and passion for public service to the forefront.
