The three waste haulers in the City of La Cañada Flintridge, Allied Waste Services, Athens Services, and NASA Services, will collect and recycle Christmas trees from LCF residents free of charge from December 26 through January 17.

Residents can place trees on the curb on their regular collection day. Trees must be free of lights, ornaments, and stands. Trees with flocking or fire retardants are not eligible to be recycled and will be disposed of as trash. Trees over six feet in length must be cut in half in order to be picked up. Trees are 100% recyclable and will be used as mulch, cover material or compost.
