Living with Bears Information Session
La Cañada Flintridge, CA – August 26, 2024—The City of La Cañada Flintridge is pleased to announce a crucial public information session on September 11, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., titled “Living with Bears.” This event will be held in the City Hall Chambers, located at One Civic Center Drive, La Cañada Flintridge and live broadcasting will be available the day of the event by visiting the City’s website.

The session will feature renowned bear expert Steve Searles, known widely as “The Bear Whisperer” from Animal Planet. With nearly three decades of experience in wildlife management, Searles has become a global authority on bear behavior and safety. Since 1996, he has served as the wildlife specialist for Mammoth Lakes, where he has implemented innovative strategies to ensure the safety of both residents and bears in the community.
