ConnectLCF now includes the all-new online business license system.  Using ConnectLCF, customers can apply for a business license in the City of La Cañada Flintridge in a few minutes, pay for the license online and print a copy of their issued license online without the need to visit City Hall physically.

Building on the City’s ConnectLCF system implemented in September 2018 that enables the electronic submission of land use and building permit applications, the new system empowers customers to submit business license applications electronically as well. Through new or existing Connect LCF accounts, applicants can fill out a simple online business license application.

Although the system is user friendly, there are step by step guides and videos you may follow, visit ConnectLCF How to Guide Page.  You may also submit questions online through the ConnectLCF portal, where a staff member while answer you within one business day, or you may call our business license department at 818-790-8880.

To Apply/Renew (this year only, renewal application is the same as if applying for the license for the first time, HOWEVER, the review process will be a renewal review):

  1. Login/Register for a ConnectLCF account
  2. Use the Apply Button to access the online applications
  3. From the Business License Tab, select the application you wish to apply for
  4. Follow the screen to complete your application and submit for review
  5. Pay for your license

City staff will review your application, then ConnectLCF system will automatically email you a copy of your license once issued.
