The City of La Cañada Flintridge is pleased to announce the launch of its new Security Alarm System Rebate Program, beginning September 1. This initiative is part of the City’s ongoing commitment to fostering a safe and secure environment through resident participation in local crime prevention efforts.

On a first-come, first-served basis, residents/business owners who install a home/commercial security and alarm system and provide proof of purchase and installation can receive a one-time rebate of up to $250 from the City. The rebate program will be limited to one per household/business.

Eligible products include a stand-alone home alarm system or a home alarm system with augment security capabilities such as security camera system, doorbell camera, exterior flood light with cameras, motion sensor light with cameras. Please note that the rebate applies to the cost of the hardware and initial setup, not ongoing fees for the security service.

Mayor Davitt voiced enthusiasm for the program, stating, “We are excited about this new rebate program, as this initiative empowers our residents to actively contribute to enhancing the safety of our City. By encouraging the installation of surveillance systems, we are building a stronger network of security that can deter crime, support law enforcement investigations and overall, make La Cañada Flintridge an even safer place to live, work and play.”
