Due to weather conditions and over saturation of the fields, all fields are closed to play effective February 23, 2023. The fields will remain closed until Monday, February 27, 2023 when each field will be assessed and determine if they can be opened.
These types of closures are critical in protecting the community athletic fields. When the fields become too saturated, any activity destroys the grass and leaves the fields in poor condition. The City thanks you all for your cooperation and for protecting the community fields.
Sheriff’s Department is aware of this closure and ready to enforce our closure code under Municipal Code 5.24.055. Please report violators to them at 818-248-3464.
